Our senior living home in Kanata South offers the surrounding community a number of lifestyle options—from independent supportive living suites to a dedicated Memory Living neighbourhood. Located in a quiet, tree-lined residential neighbourhood, many individuals choose to live with us because they have children or relatives living in the area. As such, it isn’t uncommon to see family members stopping by on the way to take their kids to school, or while out walking their dogs. As we’re a small residence, you’ll quickly feel a part of our close-knit community of residents and their families. We are also pet-friendly!

Long-standing community reputation

Well-established in Kanata, our retirement residence enjoys a strong reputation in the community, thanks in large part to our caring, long-service staff. We love to welcome members of our local community into our home, and host regular Bridge Club meetings in our games room. You can also look forward to our always-popular Thursday Happy Hours, ice-cream socials in the summers, reading in our well-stocked library, and peaceful strolls along our outdoor walking paths, shaded beneath mature and blooming trees. Our home also boasts a theatre, chapel, salon, planters for gardening, and a newly renovated bistro!

With many amenities and spaces in our home recently updated, Chartwell Empress Kanata has traditional, classic décor and warm wood finishes that make everyone feel right at home. Our suites are equally as appealing—all spacious and freshly-updated—and some even have fireplaces. In addition to social activities and dining options, our independent supportive living suites also include weekly housekeeping and medication administration, if needed
