Employee Appreciation Month

#ChartwellStrong是什么意思?这是我们16,000多名员工的坚韧、力量和勇气。我们非常感谢在我们的退休住宅和长期护理之家工作的杰出人士。

Employee Appreciation Month is our opportunitiy to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our incredible #ChartwellStrong employees. Throughout the month, our residences and corporate support teams have a number of exciting events and surprises planned to thank our employees and show our appreciation of their exceptional work. We look forward to sharing some of the unique recognition events with you later this month.

Last year, we created an e-book entitled“#ChartwellStrong: A tribute to our heroic employees,”featuring 38 corporate and frontline employees who went above and beyond their roles to Make People’s Lives Better. Please take some time to read these impactful and heartwarming stories of strength, perseverance and empathy.

I’d also like to acknowledge National Nurses Week from May 9-15, as well as Personal Support Worker (PSW) Day on May 19. Our heroic and dedicated nurses and PSWs demonstrate tremendous courage and commitment each day, and especially over the past two years. This month, please help us recognize these exceptional people that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our loved ones.

Holiday Celebrations

Senior residence at Chartwell Heritage Glen is happily smiling while holding a date at a program about Ramadan organized by student Sayed and volunteer Kanza.

The month of Ramadan recently concluded, and I’d like to extend my warmest wishes to all those who celebrated Eid al-Fitr. At Chartwell Heritage Glen, in Mississauga, Ontario, student Sayed and volunteer Kanza created a beautiful informative program about Ramadan, with many personal touches and anecdotes. As a treat, everyone received a date, a traditional fruit consumed at the end of each fast day. Thank you to all those who helped to create such a special and memorable experience for our residents.

同时,我希望所有的住客和员工都有一个迟来的母亲节快乐。我希望你们能感受到来自家人和朋友的爱和感激,这是你们应得的。
