Chartwell Pine Grove Retirement Community is located in a quiet, tree-lined neighbourhood in Woodbridge, Ontario. Offering 11 independent supportive living suites on our ground floor, as well three floors of comfortable long term care accommodations, our recently-renovated home is defined by its close-knit, family feel and proud population of Italian-Canadian residents. Here, we offer spacious and bright studio and one-bedroom suites to complement your independent lifestyle. All suites include a fully-equipped kitchenette, as well as a walk-out to a personal patio and raised gardening plot, where you can grow your own vegetables or flowers. In addition to 24-hour security, you’ll also benefit from three meals per day, weekly housekeeping, a schedule of activities and outings, and optional services like hairdressing, access to a foot care specialist and medication administration. What’s particularly unique about our residence is our Italian-inspired menus and programs.

Independent supportive living residents enjoy access to their very own dining room, where you can enjoy delicious Italian meals among friends. Lunch is the biggest meal of the day, where pasta, breads and cheeses are typically served, while dinners tend to be lighter and feature meats, vegetables and sandwiches. A daily continental breakfast is also available, as is access to refreshments and snacks in our servery. Food factors into many of the programs offered at Chartwell Pine Grove, too. Pasta and sausage making are among some of our most popular seasonal activities. Outings to bakeries, the theatre and church services are also enjoyed. In the summer months, you may find yourself attending our weekly BBQs, playing a game of bocce ball, or tending to your tomato, zucchini and garlic plants. Indoors, residents enjoy rounds of Italian cards, Bingo, Bible study, exercise classes, Italian movies, coffee socials, cultural entertainment and weekly church services. A nun also stops by weekly to say Rosary. At Chartwell Pine Grove, you can choose the lifestyle that fits your needs and interests while we take care of the rest.
